Fat is essential in the human body. While we might be used to viewing fat as the ‘bad guy’, it actually has many important roles to play within the human body. The metabolism of fat – how the body breaks down fat in order to produce energy to fuel the body – is a complicated process.

Healthy fat metabolism relies on a number of different enzymes and hormones as well as those essential vitamins and minerals that do so much within the human body. An informative article in Chemical and Engineering News, explains how scientists initially discovered that fat was more important than had been previously thought, “The first evidence that fat cells have a role beyond storing energy from excess food came from a strain of massively obese mutant mice. Before these mice, some researchers had suspected the cells were more than just a calorie cache.”

In 1994, extensive research by Jeffrey M. Friedman of Rockefeller University revealed that fat cells do have many purposes beyond the storage of energy. The key to unravelling the secret of how fat cells function, and the key to fat metabolism was a special peptide hormone; leptin.

Hormones are crucial for healthy fat metabolism

Leptin is a hormone that certain fat cells release. This sends crucial messages to the brain and instructs the hypothalamus to regulate the intake and expenditure of energy. What is most interesting, is that this is not a process that alters through a day or a week, but it is evidence that the body makes long-term alterations with the aim of maintaining the bodyweight of the individual. So fat cells were not just storing energy, they were sending instructions to the brain on metabolising fats. Fat cells are capable of communicating with other cells and organs, and this has a huge impact on how the body functions.

Adiponectin is another hormone that is essential for healthy fat and glucose metabolism. This is produced in fat cells as well as in other cells. Resistin is a hormone also produced by fat cells. Both these hormones play a role in fat metabolism and protecting against type 2 diabetes and obesity.

HGH – The fountain of youth hormone

HGH is the human growth hormone produced by the pituitary gland, it has a number of functions, the primary of these is in causing children and young people to grow. It also helps with fat and glucose metabolism, regulating body composition, and the development of muscle and bone.

Essentially, HGH helps to release fat from the cells where it is stored. Each fat cell has a receptor that binds to HGH and this triggers the process of fat metabolism. The more fat the body is storing, the less HGH is available, slowing down fat metabolism.

The aim of the Scalar Light Fat Metabolism Program is to support and boost fat metabolism by promoting the balanced production of healthy fat metabolising hormones. The aim is to energise the body’s own natural fat metabolism process. Scalar Light energy speaks to the body on an informational level to supercharge all of the complex aspects of the metabolic process. To do this, the program has been created with all of the hormones, phospholipids, enzymes, neurotransmitters, vitamins, minerals and amino acids that are required for healthy energy release from food.

Promoting Healthy Fat Metabolism

When you take part in the Scalar Light Fat Metabolism Program it is important to understand that the ultimate goal is not weight loss. This is not a weight loss program. The ultimate goal is healthier fat metabolism. Combined with healthy lifestyle choices, healthy fat metabolism can transform health and wellness beyond weight loss.

As you empower your body to form the elements it needs for better fat metabolism, it is important that you fuel your body with the healthy foods it needs. In a series of weekly emails, we will provide you with advice and support to help you make good dietary choices and overcome any obstacles you might face as you work toward a healthier lifestyle.

The Scalar Light Fat Metabolism program does not replace a healthy lifestyle – it supports it and magnifies the benefits it offers. We recommend reducing your intake of sugars and artificial sweeteners and opting for less processed foods that offer nutritional density.

Your body is unique, and how you fuel it matters. This program can support you in making choices for your body that allow it to heal, and that promote the production of healthy components of the metabolic system.

You are the best judge of whether the Scalar Light Fat Metabolism Program is right for your needs. This is not a diagnostic tool. It is not intended to tell you that you require better fat metabolism. It isn’t designed to replace a healthy lifestyle or medical treatment, but instead to work in tandem with these important aspects of your life.
